Video conferencing has a shorter target value.

Typical measures
- Acoustic ceiling or one large ceiling raft above the table.

What reverberation time does a meeting room need?
Under DIN 18041 volume-dependent, for around 100 m³ about 0.5 s, averaged over 500 and 1,000 Hz, with a tolerance band of plus or minus 20 percent between 250 and 2,000 Hz.
Does a different value apply to video conference rooms?
Yes, DIN 18041 lists video conferencing as its own use with a shorter target value, because microphones pick up reverberation more strongly than the ear. Switch the use in the calculator.
How many absorbers does a room of 100 m³ need?
Around 15 to 25 m² of equivalent absorption area in addition to carpet and furniture, so one ceiling raft over half the ceiling or a covered end wall plus a smaller raft.
