Acoustic planners compare products before they specify. Are yours in the list?
Acoustic Index is the manufacturer-independent database where planners, acousticians and architects filter and compare acoustic products by measurement data and certificates. If you're missing from the search, you're missing from the tender.
Visibility for your products
This is how planners meet your portfolio.
Visible in search
Findable by key metrics, mounting type and data source.
Present in the comparison
Your products stand right next to relevant alternatives.
Convincing on the detail page
With measurement data, product information and technical evidence.

DACH manufacturers mapped
Why manufacturers list now
Acoustic Index maps the entire DACH market for acoustic products. The database is growing. Being there early means being visible when planners run their first comparisons.
01
Planners find you before the tender is out
Acoustic planners compare products before they specify. If you're missing from the search, you're missing from the tender.
02
Your measurement data works for you
ISO test certificates, frequency responses and mounting types are presented in a structured way. Planners immediately see what your product delivers.
03
No effort: we take care of the data entry
Send us PDFs, Excel files or catalogues. We handle the structured capture.
How it works
Send a PDF. Done.
No complex onboarding. Send us your product data in any format and we take care of the rest. Or enter your data yourself in the dashboard.
Send documents or create an account
Send us the product data you already have, or create a manufacturer profile directly.
We structure your data
ISO measurement data, product information and images are captured and checked according to the standards.
Planners find your products
Your products appear in the search and in the comparison next to other manufacturers.
Planners compare. Your gap gets noticed.
In a comparison environment planners instantly see which manufacturers provide measurement data and which do not. A missing product is not a neutral absence. It is a disadvantage against competitors who are listed.
The database is growing. Manufacturers who join early benefit from maximum visibility within a still manageable selection.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do my products get onto Acoustic Index?
Send us the documents you already have (PDF, Excel, catalogues). We capture measurement data, mounting types and images in a structured way, translate texts and present your products at their best for acousticians and architects.
What data do I need for a listing?
Ideally test reports to ISO 354 (reverberation room) or impedance tube measurements. Material measurements or manufacturer datasheets with absorption values can be listed as well and are labelled accordingly. Planners see the data origin transparently.
I don't have measurement data yet. Can I still list?
Yes. On request we arrange the measurement at an accredited testing laboratory and list your product with the new data right after. Until then a datasheet-based listing is possible.
I sell to architects, not to acousticians. Is this worth it for me?
Yes, precisely then. From medium project size onwards an acoustics office is almost always involved and takes part in the product selection or pre-selection. Where it writes the acoustic report, that report defines the tender, often with a reference product and the note “or equivalent”. Whoever appears in the acoustician's comparison ends up on the architect's desk. Architects themselves also make up around a fifth of platform users.
Who uses Acoustic Index?
Acoustics offices, specialist planners and architects from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other EU countries, in particular Benelux, France, Italy and Scandinavia. They filter products by absorption values, mounting type and fire rating, compare measurement data directly and add products to their projects.
