Texaa
Texaa is a privately owned French company with about 50 employees, based in Gradignan near Bordeaux. Since 1978 it has designed, manufactured and distributed acoustic solutions together with architects. Every product is covered with Aeria, Texaa's own sound-transparent knitted fabric, protected by an international patent and knitted in its workshop near Bordeaux in 30 colors. The range covers Stereo panels, Stereo Air open mesh panels, Strato ceilings, Vibrasto stretched cladding, Velio curtains, drapes and blinds, Kora screens and the Abso objects: cushions, pads, totems, cubes and cones. Texaa has offices in Frankfurt am Main and London, a sales contact for the USA, and exports worldwide.
Texaa Strato ceiling
Description
Strato is a floating ceiling built from the Stereo family. Absorbing Stereo acoustic panels and open Stereo Air mesh panels hang on vertical cables and are joined so that the field stays flat and the joints even at any scale. Because it stays clear of the walls, Strato needs neither a perimeter grid nor stretch profiles. Opaque and open panels mix in any ratio to balance absorption against light and air, as one continuous field or as separate islands.
