Texaa is a privately owned French company with about 50 employees, based in Gradignan near Bordeaux. Since 1978 it has designed, manufactured and distributed acoustic solutions together with architects. Every product is covered with Aeria, Texaa's own sound-transparent knitted fabric, protected by an international patent and knitted in its workshop near Bordeaux in 30 colors. The range covers Stereo panels, Stereo Air open mesh panels, Strato ceilings, Vibrasto stretched cladding, Velio curtains, drapes and blinds, Kora screens and the Abso objects: cushions, pads, totems, cubes and cones. Texaa has offices in Frankfurt am Main and London, a sales contact for the USA, and exports worldwide.

Description

Abso cushions are the flat members of Texaa's Abso range: a slab of gray cellular foam with an Aeria knit cover stretched over a steel hoop, which gives them soft, rounded edges. They come as squares and rectangles with rounded corners and as discs. The shapes are sized to be combined into balanced groups below high ceilings and in large open volumes, including renovated buildings where old and new features meet. Each cushion is installed on its own; unlike Texaa Stereo panels, they are not joined into continuous clusters.
