SUAM Akustikmanufaktur develops and manufactures custom room-acoustic elements made from thermally bonded polyester wadding in Bad Wünnenberg (North Rhine-Westphalia). The range covers ceiling rafts (rectangular, round, free-form), baffles, wall and ceiling absorbers, acoustic art panels, the dekaBel metal cassette absorber, and the modular free-standing screen. The PES core material is binder-free, fully recyclable and meets fire class B1 per DIN 4102. Certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (test no. 94.0.0541).
WebsiteBaffle
The SUAM Baffle is a vertically suspended single baffle made of thermally bonded polyester wadding. It is used when the structural ceiling should remain visible or installation levels must remain freely accessible. Depending on the baffle spacing and installation height, sound absorption ranges between αw 0.50 (Class D) and αw 0.75 (Class C). A greater installation height improves low-frequency absorption. Mounting: Single suspension, cable suspension, direct mounting on T-profile, magnet, or system fastening. Customizable colors.
