raumton GmbH from Berlin plans, manufactures and installs sound absorbers for rooms in which people speak: open-plan and single offices, conference and presentation rooms, play and learning rooms as well as meeting and dining areas. The range runs from ceiling and wall absorbers through baffles, stretch ceilings and cubes to free-standing partition and floor absorbers. The absorber core is melamine resin foam or PET acoustic fleece, both free of artificial and natural mineral fibres, halogens and CFCs. For the fabric covering, more than 300 colours and textures are available in polyester, pure new wool, blended fabrics or non-combustible glass fabric. All products are made to bespoke dimensions.

Description
Der Standabsorber wird nicht fest installiert, sondern im Raum platziert und wirkt als Kantenabsorber dort, wo der Schalldruck sein Maximum erreicht. Durch Drehen wechselt er zwischen zwei Betriebsarten: als Mittenhochtonabsorber für den sprachrelevanten Bereich und als Tieftonresonanzabsorber gegen Raummoden. Für die Bespannung stehen Polyester, reine Schurwolle oder Mischgewebe zur Auswahl, die quadratische Deckel- und Bodenfläche wahlweise in Schwarz, Weiß oder Echtholz. Die stabile Deckelfläche dient zugleich als Ablage. Der Absorber ist als einzelnes Element oder als fest verbundene Stapel-Einheit nutzbar und kann mit Rollen ausgestattet werden.
