raumton GmbH from Berlin plans, manufactures and installs sound absorbers for rooms in which people speak: open-plan and single offices, conference and presentation rooms, play and learning rooms as well as meeting and dining areas. The range runs from ceiling and wall absorbers through baffles, stretch ceilings and cubes to free-standing partition and floor absorbers. The absorber core is melamine resin foam or PET acoustic fleece, both free of artificial and natural mineral fibres, halogens and CFCs. For the fabric covering, more than 300 colours and textures are available in polyester, pure new wool, blended fabrics or non-combustible glass fabric. All products are made to bespoke dimensions.

Description
Der Raumteiler hat zwei akustische Funktionen: Schalldämmung durch den massiven Kern und Schalldämpfung der auftreffenden Schallenergie durch frontseitig angebrachte Akustikelemente mit Textilbespannung. Aus der Kombination beider Eigenschaften ergibt sich eine akustische Separierung mit hoher Bedämpfung. Er besteht aus einer aufrechten Plattenkonstruktion mit beidseitig aufmontierten Absorberelementen und wird mit Stahlseilen befestigt. Für die Textiloberflächen stehen Polyester, reine Schurwolle oder Mischgewebe mit einer breiten Auswahl an Farben zur Verfügung.
