LIGNO® Akustik home is Lignotrend's acoustic panel line for the private living area. The product transfers the construction principle of the large contract panels, real wood with an integrated wood absorber, into a handy format that also works in smaller rooms. Akustik home is used in living rooms, open-plan kitchen-living spaces, home cinemas, home offices, and bathrooms, anywhere homeowners want to noticeably reduce the reverberation of their hard, modern surfaces of concrete, glass, and screed without overloading the room visually. The panels come in a small format of around 1,455 × 300 × 25 mm and can be self-installed on a simple wooden substructure, expressly intended as a DIY solution. Because the system is reversible, it is also suitable for rented flats. The version in knot-free silver fir from local forests is particularly in demand, complemented by further real-wood surfaces. All variants are PEFC-declared and can therefore be traced back to sustainable forestry.
