Since 2004, freiraum Akustik has developed custom-made acoustic art panels, room dividers, desk partitions and ceiling rafts for offices, medical practices, meeting rooms and residential spaces. The focus is on combining effective sound absorption with individual design, art motifs, custom colours and personal acoustic consulting all the way through to installation.

Acoustic art motifs and acoustic pictures from freiraum Akustik offer a combination of effective room acoustics and individual wall design. Each motif is produced in cooperation with artists as a limited edition and printed on a high-quality, fabric-covered absorber frame. The acoustic pictures function not merely as decoration, but as tested sound absorbers with a weighted sound absorption coefficient of αw 0.90 (absorber class A). The basis is a PET acoustic non-woven (Caruso Akustik Bond, 50 mm, 2000 g/m²) in an anodized aluminum frame. All motifs can be ordered in individual formats and as custom-made products.
