Acosorb
Acosorb (Acosorb GmbH, Bocholt) develops and applies seamless acoustic spray and gypsum plasters (acoustical plaster). The jointless wall and ceiling surfaces absorb sound, reduce reverberation, and keep a continuous look, with no visible joints, grids, or tiles. The spray plasters (Acospray range) consist of enriched, partly recycled cellulose fibers with a water-based binder and are sprayed on in several crosswise layers. Acoplaster F combines a noncombustible mineral wool board with an acoustic plaster top layer. Sound absorption depends on layer thickness and build-up. The materials are vapor-permeable and hygroscopic (usable even in swimming pools and semi-outdoor areas), Cradle to Cradle Bronze certified, and documented by an ISO 14025 EPD (MRPI) and VOC test evidence from Fraunhofer. Description
Acospray DC2 2.0 is a sound-absorbing spray plaster of enriched, recycled cellulose fibres and a binder. Several cross-sprayed layers are pressed together during application, producing an open-to-diffusion, structured surface with a flattened finish. It is applied at 0.2 to 0.98 in; at 0.98 in it reaches maximum absorption in the speech range. Open to diffusion and hygroscopic, down to swimming pools and semi-outdoor areas. Weight around 0.31–0.41 lb/ft² per 0.39 in. Also available as a Green Line recyclate version (India Yellow, Hong Kong Grey). The stored absorption values correspond 1:1 to the Acosorb datasheet.
