Texaa is a privately owned French company with about 50 employees, based in Gradignan near Bordeaux. Since 1978 it has designed, manufactured and distributed acoustic solutions together with architects. Every product is covered with Aeria, Texaa's own sound-transparent knitted fabric, protected by an international patent and knitted in its workshop near Bordeaux in 30 colors. The range covers Stereo panels, Stereo Air open mesh panels, Strato ceilings, Vibrasto stretched cladding, Velio curtains, drapes and blinds, Kora screens and the Abso objects: cushions, pads, totems, cubes and cones. Texaa has offices in Frankfurt am Main and London, a sales contact for the USA, and exports worldwide.

Description

Vibrasto is a stretched acoustic cladding. Its facing, Aeria knitted fabric laminated onto thin wadding, is stretch-fitted between battens in front of an absorber fixed to the substrate. The three systems Vibrasto 15, 30 and 55 differ in the absorber behind it. The flexible facing covers large walls and ceilings as one surface with fine pencil-line joins, follows convex and concave shapes and can clad furniture. Vibrasto 15 saves depth; the thicker systems suit strongly reverberant rooms. Battens give clean edges around lights, loudspeakers and vents, and stretched Aeria can be added for see-through areas.
