raumton GmbH from Berlin plans, manufactures and installs sound absorbers for rooms in which people speak: open-plan and single offices, conference and presentation rooms, play and learning rooms as well as meeting and dining areas. The range runs from ceiling and wall absorbers through baffles, stretch ceilings and cubes to free-standing partition and floor absorbers. The absorber core is melamine resin foam or PET acoustic fleece, both free of artificial and natural mineral fibres, halogens and CFCs. For the fabric covering, more than 300 colours and textures are available in polyester, pure new wool, blended fabrics or non-combustible glass fabric. All products are made to bespoke dimensions.

Partition absorber
Description
The partition absorber zones workstations and has two acoustic functions: sound insulation through the solid core and damping of the incident sound energy through acoustic elements with textile covering fitted on the front. It thus reduces the direct sound between speaker and listener and at the same time avoids additional reflections. The absorber elements have an internal support structure and a frameless textile covering. The upper part can be fitted with ESG toughened safety glass as an insulating core to allow visual contact. The four metal feet are height-adjustable to compensate for uneven floors and can be fitted with castors.
