raumton GmbH from Berlin plans, manufactures and installs sound absorbers for rooms in which people speak: open-plan and single offices, conference and presentation rooms, play and learning rooms as well as meeting and dining areas. The range runs from ceiling and wall absorbers through baffles, stretch ceilings and cubes to free-standing partition and floor absorbers. The absorber core is melamine resin foam or PET acoustic fleece, both free of artificial and natural mineral fibres, halogens and CFCs. For the fabric covering, more than 300 colours and textures are available in polyester, pure new wool, blended fabrics or non-combustible glass fabric. All products are made to bespoke dimensions.

Colour-coated ceiling absorber
Description
The ceiling absorber is microporous and is finished with an acoustically transparent colour coating. The process makes the surface resistant to dust and to discolouration caused by incident light. Bonded flush beneath the ceiling, it is the economical solution for large working areas, office floors as well as day-care and school rooms. Rectangular boards are arranged in a grid, round ones can be distributed freely. Cut-outs for fire detectors, air-conditioning units and similar existing installations are possible.
