FoamTnC UG from Hürth near Cologne was founded in 2021 and converts technical foams for room acoustics. Under the soundSTOMP brand the company manufactures absorbers from Basotect, BASF's open-cell melamine resin foam, with more than 5,000 orders delivered to industrial, commercial and private customers as well as public institutions. CNC production ranges from series cutting with several thousand parts to individual project work: bespoke dimensions from 50 × 50 mm, material thicknesses from 10 mm, special shapes, contours, chamfers, fabric covering and fixing systems.

Description
The soundSTOMP acoustic panel is a CNC-cut absorber made of Basotect G+, the open-cell melamine resin foam from BASF (8.5 ± 1.5 kg/m³). Panels in 1000 × 500, 500 × 500 and 1150 × 500 mm, optionally with a 45° decorative chamfer, in light grey, white and black; material thicknesses from 5 to 100 mm as well as special shapes, contours and fabric covering from 50 × 50 mm. The sound absorption follows the established BASF material curves for Basotect (Technical Information “Acoustics Basotect G”, reverberation room per DIN EN ISO 354), with a complete third-octave curve for each material thickness, from class D (20 mm) to class A (60 mm). As a suspended baffle system (type J) the material was additionally measured by TÜV Rheinland LGA. Reaction to fire C-s2,d0 per DIN EN 13501-1, documented by MPA NRW classification report 230008744-6.
