akustikplus develops and manufactures decorative acoustic solutions from wood-based materials at its site in Stephanskirchen near Rosenheim. The company belongs to the Hamberger Group and combines industrial production with real-wood veneer expertise. The range comprises four product lines: smartline (acoustic panels with an integrated wood-wool absorber), slimline (slender slotted panels mounted over a mineral-wool insulation layer), proline (micro-perforated acoustic boards, also available as a furniture board decorative on both sides) and designline (felt panels with veneered MDF slats). Non-combustible versions on a gypsum-fibre base are available on request.

Description
proline is a large-format, micro-perforated acoustic panel in real-wood veneer or CPL. At normal viewing distance the perforation recedes strongly and the panel reads as a calm wood surface. It is mounted over a mineral wool insulation layer, optionally with an additional open cavity for greater low-frequency effect. The finest perforation uses the finest hole pattern in the line and is direction-dependent. During fabrication, panel orientation must be observed even for plain decorative laminates. From a normal viewing distance the surface appears almost closed.
